Privacy Policy

Callback Studio is a professional casting tool. Casting teams build a roster of talent for a production, and invited directors and agency creatives review that roster and vote on who should be cast. This policy explains what the app stores, why, and how to have it removed.

What we store

• Casting team accounts. An email address and password, handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see or store your password ourselves.
• Talent information. Headshots plus whatever the casting team or the talent provides for the role — typically name, height, sizes, representation, phone, email, and links to tapes or reels.
• Reviewer names and votes. The display name a reviewer types when they join a casting, and each of their swipe decisions, so the team can see whose pick was whose.
• Basic app state. Which casting round is open, and which castings you have joined on your device.

We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How it is used

Solely to run the casting it was entered for: showing talent to the right reviewers, tallying votes, and producing the final cast list and day-of paperwork for that production. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who can see it

A casting is reachable by anyone holding its casting code or invite link, which the casting team controls and can reissue at any time — doing so immediately invalidates the previous code and links. Talent submission links work the same way. Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication) on servers in the United States; Google processes it on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Talent who are minors

Callback Studio is a business tool for casting professionals and is not directed to children. Productions do sometimes cast minors. Where a submission concerns a person under 18, it must be made by that person's parent, legal guardian, or authorised agent, who is responsible for providing the information and may withdraw it at any time using the contact below.

How long it is kept

Casting data stays until the casting team deletes the casting, which removes its talent information, photos, and votes. Team accounts stay until you ask us to close them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information about you — including a headshot or submission — by writing to the address below. Tell us the production name so we can find the record. We will action deletion requests promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify casting teams by email.
